Dear Comrade,
At the outset please accept my New Year greetings.
The BSNL HQr vide No. BSNL/39-2/SR/2011 dated 5-1-2012 has issued orders
for extension of facility of informal meetings to unions which have secured 15% votes in
last verification. The NFTE will get this facility in all the circles except Assam, NE-1,
NE-2, Keral etc. We have demanded Trade union facilities to all unions but the
management has extended in a different way. We are, thus, bound to carry our alliance
partners with us.
We, therefore, request to make sure that the representatives of alliance partners
also participate in the meeting. District Secretaries should also be advised accordingly.
There is another development as BSNLEU has written to the management to
frame its own rules for recognition on the basis of proportionate representation. We have
also written in this respect and HQr is pursuing sincerely for new rules. In the mean while
our persuance is continuing for recognition, second union status, on the basis of 5
th
verification as we have not signed to abide by with the code of Discipline.
