Grant of Special Casual Leave !!!!

Orders issued for grant of special casual leave for the National Executive Meeting of NFTE BSNL scheduled to be held on 15th / 16th April, 2011 at Bhopal BSNL / 39-2 / SR / 2011 date 29/3/2011.

Seminar 05/05/2011 at A.K.Nayak Bhavan Chennai !!!

 As decided earlier, the seminar will be held on 05/05/2011 at A.K.Nayak Bhavan. We have invited CMD, Director HRD for the seminar. We hope one of them will attend the seminar. Com D. Raja, MP(CPI), CGMs and GMs have already agreed to participate in the seminar.

Demand for Recognition !!!

Meeting with Honoble MOC. :- On 29/3/2011 a meeting was arranged with Honable Minister for communication and I.T. Shri Kapil Sibal. Com. Gurudas Gupta General Secretary AITUC Com. G.L.Dhar Secretary AITUC Com. Islam Ahmad president and Com. Chandeshwar Singh General Secretary NFTE (BSNL) attended the meeting. NFTE (BSNL) appealed to the minister to recognize NFTE (BSNL) also as no single union had secured majority support of more than 51% workers in the membership verification held on 01/02/2011 through secret ballot. The minister heard our view points and conveyed that our demand for recognition to NFTE-BSNL is reasonable. He also assured us early action on our demand.

All central Trade Unions Meeting !!!

convened a meeting of all central trade unions in New Delhi on 29/03/2011 mainly to discuss about the trade union recognition in public sector enterprises. This meeting was attended by all central trade unions. AITUC was represented by Com.D.L.Sachdev & CITU was represented by its president A.K. Padmanabhan. In this consensus was arrived among the central trade unions on the following points. 1. The age-old code of discipline needs to be reviewed and modified to suit the present day conditions of the Industry.2. Multiple trade unions may be recognized in big establishments.3. Grant of proportionate representation in negotiating council for all unions as per their vote share.These issues may be finalized in near future and help NFTE (BSNL) also to get recognized in BSNL.

IDA increased by 4.2%.  effect from  month of Apirl 01-04-2011, i.e 43+4.2= 47.2%.
