Thanjavur DISTRICT SECTRETARY KESAVAN passed away today 15-11-2010 evening at 6 pm. NFTE(BSNL) PUDHUCHERRY SSA regrets very much for his death.

DISTRICT SECRETARIES BE ALERT !

The DISTRICT level voters list will be published by the management on 15-11-2010. The district secretaries should be alert to check for any dispute or correction boothwise. And the last date for the submission of the corrections is on 22-11-2010. 

BSNLEU DRAMA!!!

R.K kohli at the age of 80 years old, formed a new union, NFTBE.  At this old age, he cannot perform any duties for his union and cannot do any good work for his followers also. There is no problem and no loss to NFTE(BSNL) becacuse of this new union. This is the drama played by the BSNLEU for the 5TH VERIFICATION ELECTION.

NEXT HEARING!

The case filed by NFTE(BSNL) came up for hearing on 12-11-2010. But the next hearing was fixed on 18-11-2010 as the management wanted time to reply.

TMTCLU(BSNL) - 4TH DISTRICT CONFERENCE CUDDALORE

4TH District Conference of TMTCLU(BSNL) is going to be held on 9-11-2010 in CUDDALORE TOWN HALL at 10 AM. NFTE (BSNL) DISTRICT UNION PUDUCHERRY wishes that the conference will be a grand success.

NEXT HEARING ON 12-11-2010

The writ petition filled by NFTE(BSNL) for 5th Member Verification Election will have its next hearing on 12-11-2010. The NFTE(BSNL) has sought intervention of court on following reasons,

1. BSNL management should evolve its own rules for recognition of unions.

2. Recognise more unions instead of one.

3. Give proportionate representation to all unions in National Circle and Local councils.

4. Grant minimum TU facilities to all unions to grow and complete.

JAC CALL- STRIKE ON DECEMBER 1,2,3- 2010

 As per JAC call, three days strike is going to be held from 1st december to 3rd december. The demands for the strike are given below.
1. Refund of Rs.18500 crores to BSNL paid to government towards 3G and BMA spectrum charges.
2.78.2% IDA Merger for wage revision w.e.f 1-1-2007.
3. Immediate settlement of ITS Group A absorption issue.
4.No Disinvestment / IPO of BSNL.
5. No VRS.
6. Procurement of adequate mobile equipements.
7. No unbundling of last mile copper cable.
8. Implement the Government's commitments on financial viability of BSNL at the time of corporatisation by continuing exemption from License fee and continuation of ADC, USO Fund etc.
9.effactive and expeditious implementation of programmes and projects lik ERP, NGN etc. Immediate fool proof measures for smooth change over to COR.
10. Government Departments and PSUs should be mandated to take telecom services from BSNL/MTNL only.
11. Revision of Pension on IDA along with wage revision. Immediate revision of IDA pension of pre-2007 BSNL retirees.
All the employees are asked to participate and make the strike as a grand success.

LTC /ENCASHMENT OF EL. ORDER NO-1-10/2010-PAT(BSNL) DT-27-10-2010

As per old orders, it is stated that for LTC, 10 days of EL pay can be taken in advance. And those 10 days EL pay will be reduced from the final 300 days pay of RETITREMENT EL BENEFIT. Now the new order states that 10 days of EL pay for LTC can be taken 6 times in the sevice i.e for 60 days. And those 60 days pay will not be reduced from the RETIREMENT EL BENEFIT. This order will be in effect from 28-9-2010.
