Applicability of rules for permitting voluntary retirement: BSNL has clarified that employees directly recruited by BSNL and appointed on compassionate grounds after 1.10.2000, will be governed by Rule 55 (ii) (c) of BSNL CDA Rules, 2006 and those who have been absorbed in BSNL from DoT will be governed by Sub Rule 11-A of Rule 37 A of CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972.
